Kristi has always believed that every child has the capacity to grow, thrive, and surprise you and that belief has guided her across more than two decades of working alongside children and families. Kristi is dedicated to supporting families and guiding children as they explore, discover, and thrive.
Kristi holds a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Before joining the healthcare field, she homeschooled her six children while volunteering in children's ministry and advocating for children in foster care. She later served as Director of Children's Ministry and taught in both public and private schools in Texas. These diverse roles deepened her commitment to creating environments where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to grow according to their individual strengths.
The mission of Achieving Milestones Pediatric Therapy aligns closely with Kristi's belief that every child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are. As the Office Manager, she is dedicated to ensuring that families experience a warm, organized, and welcoming environment from their very first call and that the clinical team has the operational support they need to do their best work for the children they serve. Kristi is honored to be part of a team that meets children where they are and helps them reach milestones that matter.

Karen Hanna
Physical Therapist
Karen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the College of Saint Mary. She is passionate about helping children build strength, confidence, and independence through movement.
Originally from Egypt, Karen lived there until the age of 11 before moving to the United States. She is fluent in both English and Arabic and enjoys connecting with families from diverse backgrounds.
Karen completed her final clinical rotation at Children’s Health and spent the past two years gaining hands-on experience in pediatric care. Her passion for pediatrics comes from growing up with younger siblings, giving her plenty of early practice keeping up with energetic kids!
When she’s not in the clinic, Karen can usually be found at the gym, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying newlywed life with her husband.
Karen is excited to be part of the Achieving Milestones team and looks forward to helping children and families reach their goals.

Paige Runkel
Speech Therapist
Paige graduated with a B.S. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. She is passionate about serving the pediatric population and supporting children in reaching their communication and feeding goals. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors. She is excited to contribute to the Achieving Milestones team!
Emma Gentile
Speech Therapist
Emma Gentile is a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in public schools, private practice, and professional development. She is passionate about advocating for children with speech, language, and feeding needs. Emma has extensive experience in myofunctional therapy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), dysphagia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
She has developed and led successful speech and feeding programs and is a national presenter in the field. Emma is committed to providing high-quality, functional therapy that empowers children and supports families. Her approach is compassionate, individualized, and rooted in the latest research. Outside of her professional work, Emma enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, and horses.
Alyssa Aguilar
Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Alyssa graduated from Texas Tech University with her B.S. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. She just moved back home to Celina and is so excited to begin her new journey at Achieving Milestones.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as going on hikes with her dog, Charley.
Alyssa joined Achieving Milestones in July of 2023, and says it’s been so fun getting to know the patients and their families in the same town she grew up in. She feels so blessed to be surrounded by an amazing team and community, and can’t wait to see everything she accomplishes!
Ellen Gentile
Speech Therapist
Ellen Gentile, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience supporting middle school students in the areas of language, articulation, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and social communication. She has significant experience working with students on the autism spectrum and is dedicated to engage successfully in every day settings. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her horse.
Sadie Ingram
Occupational Therapist
Sadie Ingram earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Behavioral Sciences from Concordia University in Austin, followed by her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.
Sadie’s passion for working with children with special needs began early, inspired by a family tradition of serving as camp counselors for individuals with disabilities. She brings that same sense of purpose and compassion to her work today, focusing on helping children and families thrive through individualized, relationship-driven care.
Outside the clinic, Sadie enjoys reading, crocheting, and hiking with her dog.
Mallory Zambrana
Speech Therapist
Mallory is so excited to join the Achieving Milestones team. She has been a Speech Language Pathologist for 5 years serving primarily elementary aged kiddos. After spending most of her career in the public schools, she and her husband welcomed their first baby this Spring. Mom life called for a change of plans and she is beyond thrilled to have the flexibility in her life to be Mom and also support the Celina community's speech and language development here at Achieving Milestones. She looks forward to getting to walk alongside all of our families in this journey to best support their kids communication development.
Joni Smart
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Joni Smart brings over 25 years of experience and a deep passion for pediatric care to Achieving Milestones Pediatric Therapy. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from Amarillo College in 1998 and began her career with a nonprofit agency supporting children and young adults with visual impairments in mastering daily living skills.
Joni’s journey into pediatric therapy began with an Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program, where she worked with children ages 0–3. Her passion for working with kids truly flourished during her ten years at an outpatient pediatric and young adult therapy clinic, where she honed her skills and developed a heartfelt dedication to helping children thrive.
Since relocating to the Dallas area in 2013, Joni has continued to serve children through outpatient therapy and pediatric home health. She is Kinesio Tex Tape Certified (KT3) in pediatrics and holds a Certificate of Mastery in the DIR/Floortime model for infancy and early childhood. Joni has also completed advanced training in handwriting, including Fine Motor Gymnastics and Multi-Sensory Print and Writing Success programs tailored for children with Autism.
No matter how many years she’s been in the field, Joni’s passion for helping children reach their full potential never fades. She finds joy in celebrating every milestone with her young clients and their families.
Outside of work, Joni is a proud mother of two grown children and a loving grandmother to a one-year-old grandson, with a granddaughter on the way. She enjoys volunteering in her church’s children’s ministry, walking her dog, watching true crime shows, and spending as much time as possible with her family.
Aubrey Teodorczyk

Brooke Foskey
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Brooke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mercer University and later completed an Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Wallace State Community College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Louisiana Monroe to further expand her knowledge and clinical skills within the profession.
For the past five years, Brooke has practiced primarily in pediatric occupational therapy, helping children and families achieve meaningful goals and maximize participation in daily activities. Her clinical experience also includes work in nursing home and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
Brooke is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have been happily married for eight years. Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog. She loves being outdoors and can often be found hiking, gardening, traveling or camping. She also enjoys creative, hands-on hobbies such as embroidery and aspires to learn quilting in the future.
